Teen Court

Teen Court is looking for volunteers for the upcoming school year to assist with their programs in both the Birmingham and Bessemer divisions. Students entering grades 8-12 and armed with a desire to serve are eligible to apply. Teen volunteers have the opportunity to serve as attorneys, clerks, bailiffs, and jurors for this real court. Teen attorneys represent and prosecute teen offenders and a jury decides how the offender will be held accountable by rendering a constructive sentence.
